The Air Jordan VII was originally released in 1991 and retroed in 2004, was worn by Michael Jordan during the 1992 Olympic Games. The retro “Olympic 7” was the first Jordan to not feature the number 23 which was of course replaced by Jordan’s Olympic number, 9. The retro 7 is one of a few Jordan sneakers to feature Nike Huarache technology, which helps provide with a snug-fit. This version is called the “For the Love of the Game” edition, which features a Gold-stitched logo of a basketball combined with a heart, located on the outer heel. Released on Friday August 13th 2010, same day of the 1992 Dream Team’s induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
