Air Jordan Retro 3 "True Blue"

Many have said that Jordan sneakers would not be what they are today if not for the elephant print on the Jordan III. Jordan was close to leaving Nike when he was introduced to Tinker Hatfield and the idea of putting elephant print on an athletic sneaker. Jordan loved the elephant print on the Jordan III but it took its time to grow on the masses. The Jordan III did not originally fly off the shelves when first introduced during the 1987-1988 season even after Jordan won the dunk contest. It took some years for the Jordan III to gain its respect but today the Jordan III is looked at by many as one of the greatest Jordan sneakers or performance sneakers to ever be released. Now-a-days you can see NFL players wearing different color-ways of the Jordan Retro III cleat during games and celebrities wearing the Retro III during concerts and on TV. The re-release of the “True Blue” Retro III is BIG especially considering the last release of the “True Blue” III came in 2009 but was not released in the United States.
