Released February 17, 2001 - Michael's 38th birthday. The 16 was the first Jordan since the Jordan 3, not desined by Mr. Tinker Hatfield. One of two Jordans to feature patent leather in their original versions. Also the first Jordan to feature the unique removeable "shroud".
